Alexei Geronimo

Alexei is a professional dancer, actor, teaching artist, educator, and certified adjudicator and was raised in Vancouver, Canada where he began his dance training. Coming from a strong ballet background, he is also trained in different styles from jazz, contemporary, musical theatre, hip hop, and tap. He then continued diversifying his Los Angeles training at the Edge Performing Arts Center Scholarship Program.

Alexei has also toured extensively with Bad Boys of Ballet, now known as “Sweetbird Productions” throughout America, Europe, Asia and Australia as one of few featured performers. He has also travelled and worked in nearly 40 countries and has lived in 4, including the United States, China, and Japan. Alexei can be seen in several commercials and shows. His film and tv credits include Center Stage, Riverdale, Paris By Night, Nickelodeon, Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, Hellcats, and choreographer for “This Is Our Death” movie. Live stage credits include Cadillac Beijing, “IF I” musical Japan, MGM opening with Kylie Minogue, Chicago (Stage West Calgary), Debbie Allen’s Freeze Frame and “Pearl” at the Lincoln Center. Alexei has appeared in music videos such as Snakehips “Cruel” and worked on the creation of the Olympic opening ceremonies in Sochi, Russia.

Some choreographers and directors Alexei has had the privilege to work with include Marguerite Derricks, Travis Payne, Paul Becker, Heather Laura Gray, Daniel Ezralow, Giancarlo Esposito, Rasta Thomas, Adrienne Canterna, and Debbie Allen. Alexei has completed contracts in Las Vegas at the Wynn Hotel’s “Showstoppers”, MGM Cotai “Destiny” and a cruise contract on Royal Caribbean’s “Spectrum of the Seas.” He is now a rehearsal choreographer/assistant for several of their shows and ships.

In his spare time, Alexei continues his training in acting, voice-over, stunt work, pole dance, aerial, and martial arts and is a certified yoga and pilates teacher. Alexei also adjudicates and can be found teaching and filming dance, yoga, and pilates classes throughout Vancouver, BC.
